On this, the last day of 2013, let us take a few
moments to appreciate the many ways our celebrity friends have kept us
entertained with their hair and makeup this year.

rocked the heck out of some oddly flattering blue lipstick (and also
charcoal-gray hair—but I already included that one in my roundup of
the wildest celebrity hair colors of 2013).
Jennifer Aniston shocked us all by wearing her hair a little bit teased and tousled for a change.
Jennifer Lawrence chopped off all her hair and started wearing really smoldering makeup.

Sofia Vergara went back to blond...
And real-brunette
Kim Kardashian gave the golden hue a try too.
Meanwhile,
Anne Hathaway went full-on platinum!
Then, of course, we can't leave out
Miley Cyrus,
because we just couldn't stop watching her, although she didn't do
anything too shocking this year (when it came to hair and makeup,
anyway). She did continue to work that little blond haircut, surprising
us with how versatile such short hair can be.
