A couple months ago I shared the first pic from Napster founder and Facebook billionaire Sean Parker's wedding with Alexandra Lenas, which was rumored to be a $9 million, Lord of the Rings-themed affair.
Now Vanity Fair got their hands on a bunch more photos from the wedding, and you just HAVE to see 'em. I don't have the rights to the pics, but here are links to my faves:

Click here to read the accompanying story, which attempts to dispute the post-wedding claims that Sean and Alexandra trashed the redwood forest where the wedding was held. Here's the most interesting paragraph:
"Save the Redwoods League—to which the pair gave a substantial donation—helped them pick a location in a closed campground adjacent to the tony Ventana Inn & Spa. The couple brought in biologists and botanists as advisers. Nonetheless, the California Coastal Commission ordered the event shut down 20 days before the wedding. Ventana, it turned out, had been cited for illegally closing the campground in 2007 after water-quality violations came to light. Finally, two days before the ceremony, Parker settled with the commission so the festivities could proceed, agreeing to pay $1 million on behalf of the hotel and chipping in another $1.5 million, voluntarily, to facilitate future access to regional forests."
In other fun leaks, here's the form that Sean and Alexandra's 364 guests had to fill out in order to receive their custom wedding costume, designed by Ngila Dickson, who won an Academy Award for her work on Lord of the Rings.
Thoughts on Sean Parker and Alexandra Lenas' wedding?
This is NOT usually my stance on over-the-top celebrity weddings, but I'm starting to feel bad for the guy, assuming he didn't actually trash a redwood forest. (Here's an essay he wrote in his own defense.) The commenters on the Vanity Fair story are all, "How could he spend millions on a wedding when there are starving children in the world?" But thousands of Americans (including me) bought a $5 coffee this morning in spite of the fact that there are starving children in the world. And Sean Parker does SO MUCH philanthropical work, raising millions of dollars through his Causes initiativeHe's also advocated for HIGHER taxes for the "wealthy and super-wealthy," like himself. I don't know, I'm not saying I want to be friends with the guy (although I wouldn't mind one of those fancy wedding-guest costumes—or a bunny), but he and his wife canceled their honeymoon to deal with negative press from their wedding, and that makes me sad.
